I have been doing a lot of thinking when it comes to what I am going to do next in terms of my big project. I have been thinking about various projects ranging from a platformer to a racer. But recently I have been pretty excited about creating a “single button” style game. I say it in quotes because you will be doing quite a bit for one.

I am messing with the concept of a bar that fills up constantly over time and use to attack, sort of like stamina. The more the bar fills up the bigger the attack. You use this to fend off enemies. The trick is that there are 3 different lanes that the enemy runs down and you need to disperse the attacks accordingly.

While that may sound a bit confusing, I am working on a prototype of the concept now. I will hopefully be able to post it up here soon so you can try it out.

In other news, Glitch in the System was accepted in to the Glitch Gaming booth! I am really excited to be showing off the game at the Minnesota State Fair. It will be on display on August 31st and September 1st. You may even be able to see me there as well. Also my other project that I have been working on with a few others also made it! I am not yet ready to disclose what that project it but you will be able to play it at the fair as well!

So things are looking up for Tribe Games. As I said before I will try to post a prototype soon.
