It’s been a while since my last post, but I do have some updates so let’s get to that right away.

I have been learning more about the tools that I use when I am working on the game. I have been working on learning more about music production (if you are following my personal SoundCloud account then you would have noticed this…). I am trying to raise the level of music creation so the game doesn’t suffer in that department.

I also have been working on learning more about Unity 3D as I am new to the environment (and C# itself). So I decided to restructure the way that I was doing things, both technically and socially. I am going to try to post about my new developments more often and show off some of the smaller updates that I make. I want to show some of the tests that I am working on, I was even thinking about creating small demos of the things that I am working and release them on this blog.

Stasis - Block TestThat being said I have recently been refining the movement system a lot on a technical level. I made it so it runs better than before. Also I added the ability to hold down the button to move (before you had to continually press the right or left button to move multiple spaces over). Even the smaller things are important to help make the whole more of a success.

My next goal is to rework the grid system. Its current state is slow and cumbersome… Plus I am going to work on that song that I have been putting off for too long. I am also going to try to make a video of me just testing out the new block system soon so stay tuned.

Glad that I am back to working? Do you want more demos, videos, pictures, etc.? Leave a comment and let me know!
